⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ C.B. Smith Park is an absolute gem! This huge 299-acre park in Pembroke Pines is one of the best all-around spots in Broward County. There’s something for everyone — families, couples, kids, and even RVers. The standout is Paradise Cove Water Park (seasonal). The big slides are a blast, the lazy river is perfect for floating and relaxing, and the kids’ areas keep little ones happy for hours. It’s clean, well-run, and a great value for a full day of water fun. Outside the water park, the rest of the grounds are just as impressive. There are nice paved walking and biking trails around the lakes, plenty of picnic shelters and playgrounds, fishing spots, and a solid lineup of sports options — tennis, pickleball, basketball, volleyball, batting cages, and mini-golf. The campground is clean and convenient with full hookups if you’re staying overnight. The park feels spacious and well-maintained, with a relaxed vibe even when it’s busy. Staff are friendly, and the weekend gate fee is reasonable. It’s the kind of place you can easily spend a whole day (or weekend) and still feel like you didn’t do everything. Highly recommend for a fun outdoor day, a family outing, or a convenient RV

Went for a birthday party so I didn't get to explore as much as I would have liked, but kids had a great time. I did notice that they have areas to appeal to each age group, which I liked. The older kids did the big slides, while my 7 yr old and I hit the younger kid water slides. And I saw they had some for the toddler aged kids as well. Lazy river line tended to get backed up, but it was a weekend and it's summer so crowds are to be expected. Once we got in, we enjoyed just floating around a few times. Not sure what the optimal time is to experience less crowds, because summer...but if you can, I would do that for an even more enjoyable visit.

C.B. Smith Park in Broward County is a huge park packed with a ton of amenities. The entire place is generally very well taken care of, clean, and quiet. There’s so much nature to enjoy, with beautiful lakes, great trails, and plenty of wildlife—you’ll easily spot lots of local animals along with some invasive species. ​While it was a really nice experience overall, I do wish more visitors understood the importance of taking care of our environment. The lakes are mostly clean, but it's sad to still see plastic and garbage accumulating along the shores. It’s a wonderful park, so let's all make an effort to pick up our trash and protect nature!

I really enjoyed my afternoon at the park; the grounds are incredibly well-kept and there is so much to do, from the water park to the shaded picnic spots. The staff at the entrance was super welcoming, and the overall atmosphere felt very safe and family-oriented. One small thing is that the internal signage can be a little confusing when you're trying to find specific shelters, so it would be nice if they added a few more directional markers. It’s such a massive, beautiful space for a BBQ, though I’d definitely recommend arriving early on the weekends to snag the best parking spot before it gets crowded.
